The icicle glistens in the brilliant winter sun...reminding me of times spent with you...
such laughter and such fun!
On warming days, it drips away along the cottage eaves
reminding me of the tears we've cried
and days down on our knees.
But, icicles have come to stay once wintertime has come and..
like our solid friendship from the day it was begun,
it grows and grows til there's no end
it reaches to the ground
and becomes part of the daily scene
like this friendship that we've found.
